This is a Full Time position in our Christchurch Commercial showroom.

 The skills and experience you’ll need to bring with you include:

  • Act as the department’s first point of contact. Ensure all communications, both verbal and written, are conducted in an efficient and professional manner at all times.
  • Answer all incoming calls, maintaining high customer service standards with a polite and helpful manner. Transfer calls accurately, and ensure customers are not left on hold lines.
  • Receive visitors in a friendly and professional manner, handle deliveries, and attend to mail and filing as required.
  • Keeping an accurate calendar of customer appointments and alerting sales staff when clients have arrived.
  • Complete reception duties including stationary orders, distributing internal mail and maintaining an exceptional filing system.
  • Maintain the reception area and showroom in a clean and tidy state at all times.
  • Complete daily and monthly reconciliations.
  • Follow up all Direct Deliveries in accordance with Commercial Department procedure.
  • Undertake other general administrative tasks as required, providing accurate and efficient support.

The skills and experience you’ll need to bring with you include:

  • Experience handling a high volume of incoming calls.
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet. Fast and accurate typing skills.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work with numbers.
  • Excellent time management skills. Ability to manage multiple and competing tasks and demands, in a fast paced, often pressured environment.
  • Understand the importance of high customer service standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships quickly.
  • High level of work ethic and professionalism.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
  • Flexible and adaptable, willing to ‘pitch-in’ when required.
  • Courteous and professional demeanour, approachable, friendly, down to earth with a good sense of humour.
